Regional Development Agency Zasavje participated in the 7th EUSAIR Financial Dialogue on 31st January 2023 in Ljubljana, where we reviewed the flagship projects agreed so far between all EUSAIR countries and their potential placement in the programming documents for the period 2021-2027.
The Financial Dialogue between the Slovenian authorities responsible for programming the European Structural and Investment Funds and the key implementers of macro-regional strategies in Slovenia – with a focus on the EUSAIR Strategy for the Adriatic-Ionian Region is crucial for the continuation of projects in the ADRION area, where PRONACUL already participated in the previous programming period in this area as the only Slovenian lead partner in the priority axis Environment – Sustainable Region.
During the financial dialogue, RRA Zasavje presented proposals for the next steps in the programming period 2021-2027 in the light of the complementarity of the Partnership Agreement and other programming documents. The overarching objective of the event was to improve communication and coordination between Slovenian authorities involved in the programming and management of the European Structural and Investment Funds and key representatives of macro-regional strategies in Slovenia. RRA Zasavje made an important contribution to the event with proposals “on the ground” regarding the involvement of stakeholders, in this case project implementers, for the integration of project content into programming documents and in the analysis of the possibilities of implementing embedding through different options for the allocation of funds and the selection of the following projects.
