VEGAL is the Development Agency of Eastern Venice and it operates both as Local Action Group in the field of rural development and as Fishery Local Action Group in the field of fishing support on the Venetian coast. Vegal area cover 22 municipalities with 235.588 inhabitants and 1.137 km2. VeGAL promote the intersectoral action to qualify the local supply and to support the territory's competitiveness and businesses (tourism, agriculture, environmental protection) and to improve the quality of life.
