Radulovački Eco Centre, located in the old town centre of Sremski Karlovci, is an energy-efficient accommodation facility primarily used for the education of the citizens. Radulovački Eco Centre is the centre of ecotourism offer and a favourite destination for various groups and individuals who want to explore the city and its surroundings. The centre comprises two buildings. The first one is a protected cultural and historical monument dating from the 18th century, and the second one is a rather modern structure, one of the very first examples of energy-efficient buildings in Serbia. The modern structure is built according to the principles of sustainable architecture. It uses solar and geothermal energy, giving visitors an example of best practice.  Radulovački Eco Centre has been named after Professor Miodrag Radulovački, who was a great donor and benefactor of Sremski Karlovci, and the Eco Centre. Immense devotion to young people, hard work and care for them have been recognised and the centre was awarded the Quality Label ‘European Youth Center’ from the Council of Europe. The objective of the Eco Camp is to offer content that would attract tourists and reveal all the beauty of this small medieval town. This unique ecotourism destination contributes to biodiversity preservation and the welfare of the local community. It offers tourists the space for learning through practical experience and insists on the responsible behaviour of all the participants in tourism. Ecotourism offer of the Eco Camp takes place in preserved natural areas and places with a rich history and hospitable people and creates an unforgettable and adventurous experience for the visitors.
